Esade Law School and vLex drive the integration of AI into legal education
Esade Law School has signed a strategic partnership with vLex – the global platform providing tech solutions for the legal profession – enabling the 140 students starting this year’s Esade Master Acceso a la Abogacía y Procura (Entrance to Legal Profession for Lawyers and Solicitors) and their teaching staff to use Vicent AI technology. This partnership will allow future lawyers to familiarize themselves with a platform that is changing the legal profession.
Vincent AI, an innovative legal assistant based on generative AI, facilitates essential tasks such as analyzing contracts, comparing documents and constructing legal arguments quickly and precisely. This partnership will prepare Esade Law School students for a workplace in which technological skills are in ever higher demand in law firms and corporate legal counsels.
As Jorge Castiñeira, dean of Esade Law School, pointed out, “this partnership bolsters our commitment to innovative legal training in keeping with the demands of today’s market. By giving our students access to the AI-enabled platform Vincent AI, we give them a competitive edge for their future career.”
Ferran Sala, director of vLex Europe, emphasized that “the upsurge in AI is completely overhauling the legal profession. The lawyers entering this sector in the coming months will need to complement their legal training with extensive tech knowledge, and this partnership offers them, precisely, that privileged insight.”
In keeping with their commitment to innovative teaching methods, Esade Law School focuses not only on training highly qualified lawyers, but also on propelling their students into the legal profession of the future by equipping them with the cutting-edge tech tools that are redefining this sector. By tailoring their training programs to the changing demands of the market, Esade equips their students to deal successfully with the challenges of the digital age. This partnership with vLex consolidates Esade’s position as a pioneer in incorporating technology into the education of lawyers, and asserts the leadership of vLex by making Vincent AI more widely used by future members of the legal profession.
