Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee will investigate any potential irregularities or wrongdoing when reported via the Ethics Channel
The Ethics Committee, together with the Internal Audits Department (which is responsible for the internal information System), will process the reports received via the Ethics Channel and other internal channels available at Esade.
Ethics Committee members
If there is a conflict of interest between the person filing a report and an Ethics Committee member, one of the substitutes previously designated by the Fundació Esade Board of Trustees (Lola Bardají and Jordi Mora, currently) will stand in for the committee member in question.
Isabel Sáez, Esade’s Internal Auditor and Internal Information System Director, serves as the Ethics Committee Secretary (non-voting member).
The Ethics Committee:
Receives reports filed via internal channels, including the Ethics Channel, regarding any non-compliance with Esade’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, its internal norms and/or applicable laws.
Manages consultations regarding the Code of Ethics and Conduct and the norms that regulate the latter, resolving these questions and concerns both quickly and diligently.
Manages and resolves potential conflicts of interest in keeping with Fundació Esade’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
Any member of the Esade community as well as external collaborates and suppliers can contact the Ethics Committee to:
- Report behaviors contrary to the values established in the Code of Ethics and Conduct and other internal norms or which are contrary to applicable laws.
- Resolve any questions or doubts which might arise regarding those values and behaviours.
